Graphic 45
Safari Adventure
Mixed Media Box with
Tag Album
'A walk down Memory lane'

Hello dear G45ers!
Sharing a Mixed Media Box with a Tag Album
featuring the beautiful Safari Adventure Collection.

I have created this project using the
lovely Graphic 45 Mixed Media Box with
magnetic closure. I just adore these boxes
they are so versatile and super fun to create with!
I also used the cute name (Inspire, Create, Imagine)
Kraft and Ivory Tags.

Herewith the Supplies and Instructions you
may use to recreate such a project:

Safari Adventure Chipboard

Other Supplies:

Swivel Clasp
Resin Elephant

Embossing Powders
Sparks Paint (Unicorn)
Eyelets
String
Wool
Flat back Pearls
Adhesive Foam Squares
Soft Gloss Gel

Mat the mixed media box both the outside
and inside with the pattern sheets. You can
use your own discretion when measuring,
I normally leave a small border so that
I can still see a bit of the box. Make sure
not to cover the window of the box.

Mat the tags with another set of
kraft/ivory tags back to front, thus
seeing either the kraft or ivory
colour behind the words
Tip: This is optional, the word will be
covered mostly, I used these tags
specifically so that the die-cut words would
create extra texture behind the embellishments.

Mat the the ephemera cards onto some
extra kraft/ivory papers and add little
tabs to the top from the pattern sheets.
Tip: Cut small strips from the pattern paper
for the tab, fold in half and  glue these
behind the cards.

Cut a few die-cut leaves for decoration from
the pattern sheets, kraft and ivory papers.

Colour the chipboard circles and
arrows with some rust pastes.

Paint some of the chipboard leaves
with sparks paint and ink the edges
with the decades photogenic ink pad.

Emboss some of the other chipboard
leaves and circle with a vintage pearl
colour and the title in green.

Adhere the metal keyhole to the metal
door plate and then adhere the door
knob to the keyhole. Add two small brass
brads to the open holes on the keyhole.
Adhere this to the flap side of the box.
Tip: Adhere the metal embellishments with
a soft gloss gel ensuring they stay in place.

Add some of the die-cut leaves,
chipboard leaves and flowers on the
other side of the box. Place the resin
elephant on top of the leave
embellishment cluster.

Add some of the accompanying
chipboard embellishments to the
box. Add the chippie title to the
bottom of the box.

Add the matted ephemera cards to the
tags and decorate the 'word' side
with some of the die-cut leaves, chipboard,
 feathers, porcupine quills and wool.

Add eyelets and string to some of the
chipboard embellishments and adhere
with some adhesive foam squares for
extra dimension. Add a button to the leaves embellishment cluster.

Add  a swivel clasp to the first
tag, add some extra metal
embellishments to the chain.
