Finn Team Art Recipe June
Altered Seahorse Plaque
'Escape'

Altered Seahorse Plaque created with
lots of awesome products by Prima

I was inspired by the Fabulous Finn Team
Art Recipe for June and the gorgeous projects
the Finn Girls Olya, Juliya and Bipasha made.
Follow the link to be inspired by their
awesome projects:

I decided to go for a more softer look and
only used the brown rust pastes with patina
paste and light patina metallique paint.

I love how Juliya added Art Stones to her
Vial...I did the same. Thanks for the Idea!

I adore beach themed projects and had
a lot of fun putting this together!

Graphic 45
Botanical Tea
Paper Cake Centrepiece
'Beautiful'

Hello dear G45ers!
Sharing an OTP, a Paper Cake Centerpiece with
Teapot Topper...what would a cake be without a topper right?
created with the gorgeous Botanical Tea DCE
Just love the pinks, greens and blues in this collection!

How pretty wouldn't this piece look in the centre of a table
of a party such as a High Tea?!
Tip : Adhere bows on lid only...being able
to open up the boxes. You can hide a little
surprise/treasure on the inside.

I made this project with the help of my Silhouette!
Design ID numbers and assembly provided:

Spellbinders Tiered Multiloop Bows
Border Die
Small Butterfly Die
Sticky Red Double Sided Tape
Lindy's Embossing Powder Purely White
Lindy's Embossing Powder Chateau Rose
KiRiche Laser Design Chipboard
Ball Chain, Pins, Eyelets, Brads
String, Rhinestones, Flowers and Birds

Cut 2 circle boxes, a teacup with saucer
and teapot using the Silhouette and Botanical Tea
collection sheets. Assemble accordingly.
Tip : Use red double side
tape to adhere boxes.
This makes assembly easy and will
prevent the box from falling apart.

Cut a few bows using the Spellbinders die.
Tip : Curl the two bow strips forming a
curve using the back of pencil or
 similar object. This makes
folding the end pieces
together a little easier.
Fasten with a brad.

Emboss the chipboard pieces with
embossing powders.

Make 2 cluster embellishments using
the die cut hearts, butterflies, leaves
shapes, string, birds and flowers.
Adhere to the boxes with pins.

Add rhinestones to the centre of each butterfly
die cut. Add door knob to lid of tea pot.

Mat the stickers from the collection sticker sheet
onto cardstock. Fussy cut and add an eyelet
and ball chain. Hang from tea cup handle.

Fussy cut some butterfly and bird
elements from the collection.
Tip : Curl the elements a little
using the back of pencil or
 similar object to give some
dimension.

Add die cut border shapes to the bottom sections
of the boxes to give it that finishing touch.

Graphic 45
'Self Portrait'
Film Reel Box -
Mini ATC Tag Album
'Live Beautifully'

Hello dear friends!
So excited to share my first Design Team project as Graphic 45
Brand Ambassador. was asked to create a project that reflects me as an
artist using my favorite paper medium and go-to technique!

I decided to make an off the page project...
(for those who know me...know this is what I LOVE to do!)
I have decided to combine one of my favorites Portrait of a Lady Collection with
Botanical Tea DCEI looooove pink and the colours in Botanical Tea were a
perfect match to the green and gold in Portrait of a Lady
My favorite paper medium is black cardstock and go-to technique would be
chipboard pieces embossed and die cuts for layering!

But first an Introduction...
My name is Tanya Cloete (aka Tanya Scrap).
I live in Pretoria, South Africa. Pretoria is the administrative capital of
South Africa and is also known as 'Jacaranda City' for its thousands
of Jacaranda trees - Wikipedia. Cannot picture this city without those pretty little
purple flowers! I am what you would call an avid scrapper.I spent most of my
time crafting away in my little piece of heaven, my happy place.
This all started about 7 years ago seeking a hobby to keep me busy.
I have always loved making crafty things as far as I can remember
but never imagined that scrapbooking/paper crafting would develop
into such a passion.I still love every single moment of my crafty journey!
I enjoy creating Single Page Layouts, Mini Albums, Mixed Media pieces,
Altered Art,and Cards but my love lies in creating Off the Page projects!

A special thanks to the wonderful Graphic 45 Family
for this AWESOME opportunity to be on this FABULOUS team
and to be the first South African to represent their
AMAZING brand - a HUGE honor!!!!

1. Mat the G45 Mixed Medai Box with sheets
from Portrait of a Lady and Botanical Tea.
Both inside and out.

2. Add pink ribbon around the sides of box
and on the top, make a bow.
**Tip: Adhere these with sticky red tape. I prefer
the red tape for projects like this...as it is strong and
won't fall apart or come loose!

3. Adhere the metal feet to all four corners
and the G45 door knocker to the centre and add pink
rhinestones to the open holes of each piece.

4. Cut die cut shapes using dies...
*Butterflies (adhere rhinestones to the centre of each)
and leaves - black cardstock and collection sheets.
*Hearts - collection sheets.
*Film Strips x4 & Long Film Strip (Tim Holtz Die)
and Clock - balck cardstock.
*Picture Wheel x4 pieces form chipboard
and x8 from the collection sheers (adhere
on both sides) add the clock filigree frame to one
piece and the clock on the other.

5. Film Reel section x2: cut a strip of black
cardstock measuring 28 cm x 7 cm.
Cut another strip form the collection sheets and adhere
to the black strip leaving a small border.
Adhere the two ends together to form a 'pipe'.
Add a paper straw through the hole of the one film reel.
This will be place into the other one at an angle.

6. Cut 12 portraits from the Portrait of a Lady
Collection using the film strip die.
**Tip: Adhere a piece of masking tape to
each portrait picture when cutting to ensure
that is stays in place.

7. Adhere all the portrait pieces to the open
frames of the black film strip die cut with
washi/decorative tape. Adhere two of the film
strip ends together. Place over the 'pipe' piece
and adhere the picture wheels to the top
and bottom. Add G45 brads to the holes.

8. Make 2 cluster embellishments using
the die cut hearts, butterflies, leaves
shapes, string and flowers.

9. Emboss the chippie title with gold and
the frame with Chateau Rose. Adhere
the lady portrait and heart die
cut shapebehind the frame.
Place chippie titleon top of frame.

10. Cut 3 border die cut shapes using a border die
from the black cardstock photo mats in the box.

11. Cut 6 tags from the collection sheets
using the ATC tag and adhere the borders to
the 3 tags. Mat these onto the black Artist TradingTags.

12. Cut a 6 portraits from the collection sheets
and adhere onto each tag with foam squares.

13. Place tags in binding ring.
Add ribbon through first tag and make a bow.

14. Adhere a strip of paper from the collection sheets
behind the long film strip die cut and add
film strip ribbon on top. Give it a twist
and adhere inside box.

15. Add some net on the inside and in
between the film strip die cut.

16. Arrange the rest of the embellishments
and pieces as per the picture or as you like.
