 Mixed Media Canvas

'Less Perfection, 
More Authenticity' 

Hello dear friends!
Finnabair has an endless line of 
AMAZING mixed media products
 and I LOVE them all! Today I am 
sharing a Mixed Media Canvas
 featuring some of her magical paints, 
pastes and waxes. I added lots of
 texture to my canvas, first I added 
paper texture paste to the background 
over the tapestry stencil. Then I 
added random strokes of white crackle 
paste. Next I added some texture 
powder mixed in with 3D gloss gel 
and black gesso and randomly 
applied thick coats of this mixture
 to my canvas. I left it to dry and 
gave the canvas a coat or two of
 black gesso. Next I painted the entire
 canvas with Lemon Peel Impasto 
paint. I then lightly sanded the
 surface of the raised texture to 
make the black pop out. I lightly
 dry brushed some Aubergine 
Impasto paint over some areas. 
Next I added some embellishments 
from the Finn moulds which I painted 
with metallique paints and waxes. 
I added lots of chipboard elements 
which I altered with Finn's paints. I 
adorned my photo from the vintage
 photobooth stickers with some 
fussy-cut leaves featuring the
 Midnight Garden collection, memory 
hardware pearls, glitter, micro beads
 and sequins.
