Off to the Races
Cowgirl Boots + Hat
'Country Life'

Hello dear G45ers! 
Sharing a pair of 3D paper Cowgirl Boots
 and Hat featuring the stunning Off to
 the Races Collection.

I love this collection, so bright and 
beautiful! I created this piece with my
 Silhouette, cutting dies, flowers and 
metal embellishments.

Red Double Sided Tape
Embossing Powder

Black Cardstock
Watercolor Paper
Grunge Paper

White Gold and Vintage Gold Wax
Hole Punch


Cut a pair of cowgirl boots from the 
pattern sheets in the collection. Adhere
 the tabs with red double sided tape and
 assemble accordingly. Cut the shoe sole 
pieces from black cardstock.


Cut a cowboy hat from the pattern
 sheets in the collection. Adhere 
the tabs with red double sided tape
 and assemble accordingly. 


Cut a few die-cut shapes for
 layering and decoration.


Paint the accent pieces, die-cut swirls 
and leaves with raven sparks paint and 
highlight with gold waxes.


Cut four long strips from grunge paper. 
Punch holes for the eyelets and metal 
buckles. Paint the strips with black gesso, 
raven sparks paint and highlight with 
gold waxes.


Heat emboss the chipboard title
 with embossing powder.


Adorn the hat with some flowers and 
metal embellishments.


Add a metal key to each boot.


Add flat back pearls to the center
of each butterfly.
