Dusty Attic
Mood Board Inspiration
Mixed Media Layout
'Love Completely'

Hello dear Dusty FANattics!
This months mood board is GORGEOUS.
Love the color combination of red and orange,
such beautiful rich and warm colours.
Here is my take on the March challenge.

Inspired by the beautiful rich colours of this
mood board I created a layout featuring a
combination of the stunning Prima Midnight
Garden and Salvage District collections teamed
up with some stunning Dusty Attic chipboard.
For my background I added a mixture of luscious
icing pastes with a stencil and then added some
paint splatters. My photo (via Pinterest) has been
layered onto some die-cut pieces cut from the
collections. I have painted all the chipboard pieces
with Finnabair's metallique paints and the
chipboard title has been heat embossed with a
light colour vintage pearl. I then decorated my
photo cluster with some red and gold rhinestones,
pretty Prima flowers, die-cut leaves,
die-cut butterflies and string.

Graphic 45
Love Notes
Gramophone with Tag Album
'Music...is the silence
between the Notes'

Hello dear G45ers!
Sharing a Gramophone featuring the
gorgeous Love Notes Collection and the
lovely Deep Square Matchbook Box with
a super cute Tag Album.

I have created this piece using the template
credit to Tara's Craft Studio. You can find the
template here. I have also used a lot of die cut
elements, chipboard pieces and
metal embellishments.

Herewith the Supplies and Instructions you
may use to recreate such a project:

Other Supplies:
Various Dies
Metal Embellishments and Metal Chain
Wooden Box Lid
Black Gesso
String
Pins
Eyelets
Ribbon & Lace
Flat back Pearls
Rhinestones
Masking Tape
Double Sided Tape
Adhesive Foam Squares

Mat the matchbook box both the outside and inside
with the pattern sheets. You can use your own discretion
when measuring, I normally leave a small  border so that
I can still see a bit of the box. Add some strips of paper
to the sides of the box. Add washi tape
on top on the right side of the box.

Fussy cut some elements from the 8x8 paper pad and add
eyelets to the chipboard pieces.

Cut the template elements from the pattern sheets and
assemble accordingly. Layer the circle pieces on top
of one another and adhere with foam adhesive.
Tip: Adhere with red double sided tape thus
preventing the project from falling apart.

After assembly add some flat back pearls on the inside
and outside of the gramophone shape.
Tip: Add the pearls before adhering to the box and
 adding the die cut elements.

Cut a few die cut shapes from various dies for decoration.

Using a square stitched cutting die, cut 3 cards from the ephemera pack.

Cut a few tags to mat the black tags from the album.
Add a mixed media textured die to some of tags and cut.
Tip: Use masking tape to keep the die in place, thus
making sure it stays in the position you want it.
Bonus Tip: Use the leaf element from the textured
 die as an extra embellishment.

Paint the wooden box lid with black gesso.
Adhere the brass feet on the sides. Cut a
square piece from the pattern sheets
and mat the bottom of the lid.

Add some metal chain to the one side of the box.

Add rhinestones to the centre of the butterflies.

Add some flowers and string.

Add ribbon and metal embellishments to the box.

Decorate the tags with some ephemera,
chipboard pieces and die cuts.
