Cut a top hat from the pattern sheets.
Assemble accordingly.
Tip: Use red double side tape to adhere the

prevent it from falling apart.

Cut some die cut shapes and a large bow
(assemble) for the pattern sheets.
Tip : Curl the two bow strips forming a curve
using the back of pencil or similar object.
This makes folding the end pieces
 together a little easier.
Fasten with a brad.

Cut 2 clocks from chipboard using the Tim Holtz dies
and heat emboss with embossing powder.

Cut some elegant flourishes from chipboard using the
Tim Holtz dies. Ink with decades inks and add crackle
accents. Leave to dry.

Cut a circle from watercolor paper and emboss with an
embossing folder. Colour with decades ink blending the
colours. Highlight the embossed effect with wax.

Fussy cut some of the clocks from the pattern sheet.

Mat some of the elements onto gold cardstock and
add the pattern chipboard pieces.

Add eyelets to the chipboard buttons
and adhere the metal embellishments.

Add the large bow on the side of the hat
and adhere a chipboard button in the centre.

Add metal brads and chain to the side of
the hat.

Prima Pretty Pale
Memory Hardware
Grand Tall Album
'Beautiful'

Love this collection. Love the vintage style
papers. Love how versatile it is. I created
this beautiful book featuring the new Memory
Hardware Grand Tall Chipboard Album by
Frank Garcia combined with Pretty Pale.
I stamped 14 of the Prima Princesses stamps
on each page. I added the small petite round
resin frame with a butterfly in the middle
as my centrepiece. I added lots of chipboard
and die cut pieces to form my layering. I
covered each page with some lace, gauze
and pieces of wool for that extra texture. I
added lots of the collection ephemera, acetate,
tickets, stickers and journaling cards. I then
added some of those gorgeous Pretty Pale
flowers, glitter, micro beads, butterflies
and say it in crystals for the finishing touch.

Dusty Attic
Mood Board Inspiration
Altered Crab
'Paradise Found'

Hello dear Dusty FANattics!
Here is my take on this months mood board.
I LOVE sea/beach themes and this colour
palette is just absolutely STUNNING!

I have altered this cute little crab featuring lots
of the pretty sea/beach Dusty Attic chipboard
pieces. I prepped the little guy with white gesso
and added some gauze along the bottom section.
I also painted all the chippies I used with white
gesso first and then started adding them in layers
onto the gauze, I adhered all of these with a
heavy body gel and gave them another coat of
gesso. I then painted it with some impasto and
metallique paints, I added water now and again to
tone down the colours a bit. I randomly added
some touches of rust pastes. I then tucked
in some lace flowers and extra gauze behind
the chippies. I also added some seashells and
 a starfish embellishment.The chipboard titles
have been embossed with white embossing powder
(I generally love embossing the chippie titles
with white, simply because it looks pretty and a
lot more visible). I then finished the piece off
with some lovely art stones for extra texture.
