Prima Flirty Fleur

Mixed Media Canvas

'Hello' 

Love this colour theme Aqua, it is such a
 pretty colour! I made a mixed media Canvas 
and I chose to work with the beautiful Flirty 
Fleur collection. I tore one of the pattern sheets 
from the 12x12 collection in half and added 
this to the top section of my canvas. I prepped 
my whole canvas with clear gesso. I added 
some texture to the background with paper 
texture paste over the doily stencil. I coloured
 my background using the Art Philosophy
 concentrated watercolor in Emerald and 
Vacation. The moulded embellishments 
have been painted with metallique paint 
in white pearl and then I highlighted some 
with Finnabair wax in Mint Sparkle. The 
metal butterflies have been painted with 
white gesso and the lightly brushed with 
some Artisan powder in Trianon Patina. 
I layered my photo (via Pinterest) onto lots 
of die-cut and chipboard pieces and adorned 
it with pretty Prima flowers and melange.
 I added some art stones and glitter for
 extra texture and paint splatters for the 
finishing touch.
