Graphic 45
Bloom
Pocket Mini Album
Club G45 Vol 05
'Bloom where You're Planted'

Hello dear G45ers!
Happy to share with you my
 #ClubG45 project this month
 featuring the ever so STUNNING
Bloom Collection. These papers are
 absolutely gorgeous, love the patterns
and all the pretty floral imagery!

For my assignment this month I was
asked to choose any of the projects
from the Club G45 Kits and level it
up, so I decided to recreate the
Pocket Mini Album Vol 5 by the lovely
Annette Green. I have re-sized mine
to a 6x6 mini album. I added cute little
frames for photos.I have also made the
base of my album black by using the
black chipboard and gloss black washi
tape instead of the kraft chipboard
and gloss gold washi tape as per
the original project.

Charee Filimoehala has an easy step
by step video tutorial on this project,
you can follow the link here.

Herewith the Supplies and Instructions you
may use to recreate such a project:

G45 Supplies used:
Bloom Collection 8x8 Paper Pad
Shabby Chic Ornate Metal Key Holes
Other Supplies used:
Photo Frame Die
Creative Expressions Lattice Edging Die
Ribbon
Flowers
Vellum Paper
Sellotape
Double Sided Tape

Cut five 6x6 pieces from the black
chipboard sheets.
Tip: Make sure that they are all the
 exact same size.The two extra
strips, (not shown in picture) I kept
them the same size as per the
original project.

Cut ten 14.5 cm x 14.5 cm pieces from
the pattern sheets in the collection.
Mat these onto the black chipboard sheets
after assembling with washi tape.

Using the off-cuts from the sheets
mentioned in the previous step, cut
strips from each.

Tip: Use these off-cuts to add
layers on each page.

Cut some photo frames from the
black chipboard sheets using a
frame die. Glue a piece of vellum
 paper behind each frame.
Tip: Vellum paper will protect the
photos.You could also use an
 acetate sheet.

Cut some pockets from the pattern
sheets using the lattice edging die.
Tip: Use these die-cut pockets to slide
the framesin and out or you can glue
the frames down if you prefer, just
make sure that when you do glue the
frame that you only add tape to
one side thus making sure you
can still slide photos in an out.

Layer some of the off-cut sheets
and die-cuts onto the front cover
of the album. Add the ribbon half
way and slide through the keyhole
embellishment. Add a piece
of ribbon to the back cover too.
Tip: Make sure the ribbon is long
 enough to make a bow.

Fussy cut some of those pretty flowers
and adhere with tape. Add some more
flat flowers and decorate with
matte pearl gems.
Tip: Mark the front cover lightly with
a pencil to make sure the keyhole
 embellishment gets placed on the
right page. Mark the back cover too,
remember this page does not need
 to be decorated.

Cut 4 strips from the pattern sheets
for the small strips of chipboard.

Add some extra ribbon through
the pink bow and make another bow.

Mat the title onto some extra black
chipboard. Add fussy cut
butterflies.

Fussy cut some of the wording pieces
from the Grow with Love sheet and use
these as embellishments for the frames.
Tip: Do not add bulky embellishments,
(I normally get carried away with this haha)
it will be a struggle to close the album.

Add your photos to the frames. You
can either glue the photos behind
the frame for just simply slide them
 behind.

Some more photos...

This was really a super fun and
 easy project to recreate!

Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Papercrafting!
Tanya
