My first ever altered book! I have 
always wanted to try one of these
and I am very happy with the outcome!

I added soft gloss gel to the book completely to

 harden the pages and to keep the form and 

distressed look as seen in picture. I then added 

torn pieces of paper from the Lyric collection and

adhered with gloss gel too. I then painted the book

randomly with white gesso and white crackle

 texture paste. I then added some color bloom

sprays and art alchemy paints randomly as well 

as adding some splatters. I then added 

all the embellishments, die cuts and flowers.
The chippies have been embossed with 
embossing powders.
