These boxes will be gifted to my mom and
mother-in-law for Mother's Day!
I made this project with the help of my Silhouette.

Herewith a step by step tutorial you may use
to recreate such a project:
Cut a 'purse' gift box from black cardstock
and pattern paper. Mine measures (sizes optional) :
Cardstock 25 cm x 13 cm
Pattern sheet 24.5 cm x 12.5 cm
Adhere the pattern piece onto the cardstock.
Fold the perforated lines inwards
(to form an accordion fold)
Add double sided tape on the
two tabs as shown.
Tip : Use the red double side
tape to adhere boxes.
This makes assembly easy and will
prevent the box from falling apart.
Cut a few elements using dies
(mentioned in supply list) from the
pattern sheets and cardstock.
Cut a set of bows from the pattern sheets
and assemble accordingly using a brad.
Tip : Curl the two bow strips forming a
curve using the back of pencil or
similar object. This makes
folding the end pieces
together a little easier.
Fussy cut a lady element (from my stash)
and adhere behind the oval frame
as shown. Oval shape has
been cut using a die.
Emboss the butterfly through your
embossing machine using the Swiss Dots
embossing folder. Love how you
can decorate these metals from G45.
Tip : Run this through your machine twice to
make the dots pop out more...
depending on what machine
you have. If electric once should do the trick.
Stamp the banners with the word
image using the stamp set.
Mat the banner elements with cardstock.
Emboss chipboard piece with Ranger
Blush Pearl and cut in half.
Punch two circles from pattern paper
and cardstock...to hide the brad
from the bow that will be visible.
Add velcro dots as shown...to be able to
open and close the purse flap with ease.
Arrange the rest of the embellishments
as per the picture or as you like.
Now you can add a little gift
inside or chocolates.
