Graphic 45
By the Sea
Scrapbook Layout
'SOAKING up the Sun'

Hello dear G45ers!
Sharing a Scrapbook Layout featuring
the gorgeous By the Sea Deluxe Collector's Edition.
I love the patterns, colours and imagery in
 this collection, they are so P R E T T Y!

I have created this Layout on a watercolor
paper background with some cutting dies,
sandal embellishments, flowers, seashells
and starfishes.

Herewith the Supplies and Instructions you
may use to recreate such a project:

Other Supplies used:
Various Cutting Dies
White Sand Texture Paste
Embossing Powders
Cardboard
Watercolor Paper
Seashells
Starfishes
Sandals
Chipboard Title
Stencil
Flowers
Sellotape

Cut a few square (or any shape you like)
 pieces from the pattern
sheets. These will be used for layering.
Tip: I used some off cuts from a previous project
thus some of the shapes are not even...but not
to worry as these won't be visible, it will be
 covered up by the photo.

Cut a few elements from the pattern
 sheets using some cutting dies.

Fussy-cut some elements from the
pattern sheets in the collection.

Build up all the fussy-cut elements and
die-cut pieces to form a cluster.
Tip: Adhere each piece with some sellotape
as you go along, thus making sure it
stays in place.
Add cardboard pieces behind the
cluster to give it dimension
before sticking it down on the page.

Add some sand texture paste on the one
side of the page and stenciling on the other
side. Use the photo cluster that you build up
in the previous step to act as a guideline
as to where you want the sand texture paste
and stenciling to be visible.
Tip: Make sure to add some of the fussy-cut
elements and seashells in the sand paste
 whilst it is still wet.

Add some flowers and starfishes.

Add some more embellishments:
sandals, starfish and flowers

Heat emboss the title with embossing
powders and add to the page at an angle.

Some more photos...

Prima
Re-Design Petites
Home Decor
Altered Mason Jar Set

Hello dear friends!
I LOVE how you can Re-Design with Prima
small home decor pieces. Today I am sharing
these super cute Mason Jars altered with just
a few Re-Design products by Prima. First I
painted the jars with Finnabair's black gesso.
Next I painted a layer of the water drops chalk
paste over the black gesso and left it to
dry completely. I then lightly sanded the
surface and the edges of the jars with a
sanding block to make some of the black pop.
I made some moulded embellishments with
Re-Design moulds which I painted with
white gesso. Next I randomly painted them
with black gesso whilst lightly spraying water
onto it and damping it with a paper towel
to remove the excess gesso. I then lightly
brushed them with some of the chalk paste
and white gesso. I added little door knobs
to the lids which have been randomly
painted with white, black gesso and
chalk paste. I added small pieces of the
Spring Meadow Life transfer on the front
of the jars. To finish them off I added the
moulded leaf embellishments to the jars
by tying them with some twine.
