Graphic 45 Mon Amour Card

Hello, today I share a card  that I created with the stunning collection from Graphic 45 Mon Amour!
The colour combination is absolutely divine!

I mostly enjoy creating OTP projects especially with Graphic 45 and then once in a while I also enjoy making a card, these are normally left over pieces that I used for another project!

I love layering on cards and also some fussy cutting! I love flowers and butterflies and these will almost always be seen on not just my cards but all my projects!

Debutante Bird House Box

Hello, today I share a Bird House Box that I have created with the beautiful Prima Marketing Debutante Collection. I absolutely love these colours and thought it a perfect fit for my Bird House Box.

The theme is Fairy Dust. All pink with a touch of green, white and cream. The colour combination suits the theme extremely well! I love fairies and butterflies and the colour pink too!

I decided to make it an open Bird House so that the beautiful fairy and piano can be seen on the inside. I used Acetate sheets to cover the open sections. I also figured that a picket fence would go great with the idea! So I had this custom laser cut to my liking with the gate being able to open and close.

The cute wooden box at the bottom has a little drawer for storage as well.
May it be fairy dust, chocolates or trinkets!

Time Traveler's Memories CAMERA

Hello, today I share another favourite to make a 3D Camera.
This I cut with help of my Silhouette Cameo.

I have used an old collection but still stunning, Prima Marketing Time Traveler's Memories along with some Prima flowers, embellishments and the NEW IOD Vintage Art Decor Moulds...don't you just love it when you can make your own embellishments!
I used Barouque 6 the clock.

I must confess that I do not have the paper clay that goes with it. I know that one can use other air-dry clays for moulds as well however I just used the normal plaster of paris (all I had at the moment) to set this.
It dries quicker though, however it is not flexible and can break easily. Happened with the first one I made. But as the saying goes...practice makes perfect right!

I painted the clock with Martha Stewart's light gold acrylic paint and then lightly inked the edges with distress ink Ground Espresso and I think it came out perfect.

Definitely going to be making more of these for my stash, I figure they will come in handy!

-THE CAMERA-

I inked the edges of the camera and all the contrasting accents with
distress ink Gathered Twigs.

I embossed the word 'Snapshots' and the front section lens of the camera (circle) with Lindy's Stamp Gang Spanish Moss Green. I placed a piece of acetate behind the lens. I then added the Finnabair vintage mechanicals clock face to the centre and then placed some rhinestones around the clock to finish it off.

I painted the Prima resin Angel with Martha Stewart's light gold acrylic paint. I then add it to the Tim Holtz corked dome with some mixed beads. I placed the the corked dome with metal butterfly and flowers before assembling the camera completely.

I used a tag from Enmarc and inked the edges with Gathered Twigs. Add the metal butterfly and paper clip.

Add the lace to the contrasting accents before adhering the pieces.

Once the camera is assembled, add all the rest of the embellishments and flowers.

Altered Torso

Hello, today I share this cute altered Torso I created using some Flowers and Embellishments to give it the finishing touch.

Material Supply List
Craft Sheet
Glue Gun
Artist Palette
Finnabair Heavy Gesso
Finnabair Modeling Paste
Prima Marketing Tea Stain Spray
Acrylic Paint (Beige/Mint/Pink)
Plaid Folk Art Stencil
Cloth
Flowers & Embellishments

1. Lets start... Dressing her up!

Add modeling paste to the the bottom section of the Torso using the stencil with the word (LOVE). Leave to dry.  Use some cloth to cover the top and bottom sections as per the picture using the gesso to do this. Remember that the back of the Torso also needs to be covered with the cloth as per the picture below.
Take another small piece of cloth. Tear into a strip and make a little bow to be
fitted at the back.

2. Painting

Pour the 3 different paint colours into an artist palette. I used an artist palette because the paint will be mixed together in the end and thus preventing them from being spoiled in their containers.
Paint the Torso using the mint paint covering her completely especially between the crinkles of the cloth. Leave to dry.
Once dry, dry brush over the mint colour with pink and then with beige and then again with mint using the same brush mixing up the colours. Repeat till satisfied with the blending of the colours.

3. Tea Stain Spray

Once the Torso is completely dry, gently spray the front and back with the spray.
It should have a shimmer...

4. Flowers and Embellishments to give it the finishing touch!

Add the flowers and chains using the glue gun. I added some more chain and flowers
that are not in the picture above.

5. Finally she is complete...

Hope you enjoyed the tutorial!
